Growing up, Mahjong was always part of our lives—but sharing it with friends never felt easy. American Mahjong often dressed the tiles up with flashy, decorative designs, but it didn’t feel like home. Traditional sets carried authenticity, yet lacked the charm and personality we were looking for. We didn’t want to choose between culture and aesthetics. So we created HULIAO (胡了!)—a Mahjong set that is beautifully designed, culturally authentic, and made for everyone to learn, play, and love.
